My fillet steak cooked blue was evidence of a cookery masterclass: seared to caramelize the cut surfaces and rested enough to allow the heat in the ultra-tender flesh to even itself out. What I was presented with needed no effort to cut and even less effort to chew. Food heaven!

We stayed in room 4 which was very clean, spacious and comfortable - a great nights sleep and well worth the money. Breakfast the next morning was excellent - fresh and local produce what more could you want? I would not hesitate to recommend Loftsome Bridge as a place to stay :-)

Do book to eat in the restaurant in the evening as the food is wonderful as are the breakfasts. The accommodation and food/wine are VERY resaonably priced and the staff are very attentive.
Our son was presented with a CONGRATULATIONS dessert, which was a wonderful touch. Can we find an excuse to visit York again ?

My husband and I stayed here for his 60th birthday after hearing very good recommendations from friends. We were not disappointed and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Booking Conditions
Cancellations
All cancellations must be received by 11.00am on the day prior to arrival. Cancellations received after this time will incur a charge equivalent to the total cost of the first night's stay. Non-arrivals will incur a charge equivalent to the total cost of the first night's stay, and have any remaining nights cancelled without prior notice. Any pre payment deposits paid are non-refundable if cancelled.
Check in /Checkout Times
Check in time is between the hours of 2.00pm and 10.00pm arrival date. Outside these hours require prior arrangements.
Check out time is 11.00am day of departure.
Junior Suite
Over looking the lake, the junior suite is a double bedded room with all facilities. A separate sitting room furnished with premium two-seater sofa bed (1 adult or 2 Children), coffee table, writing desk, (second) television, refrigerator with complimentary water and fresh fruit bowl.
Pets
We do not allow pets.
Family Room
Prices based on 2 adults + £10.00 per child extra - 1 or maximum of 2 children under 12 years of age - sharing the same room.
Reserving a Room
The management however reserve the right to any price increase, by first advising you of same and offering you the option to cancel. Whilst we cannot guarantee room availability, on receipt of your request we will do our utmost to accommodate you. A Non Refundable Deposit of £20.00 per room is required to secure all room reservations.
